We often get a few questions from our clients and customers, and when we do, we do our best to answer all of them. The following FAQ below includes some of the most common questions that we’ve encountered, and we hope that they can provide you the information you need about our services.

1. How Long Does It Take You to Install a Lock?

It depends on the lock being installed and the object or surface it’s being installed on. An ordinary cabinet lock, for example, will usually take less than an hour to install. In contrast, an electronic lock that needs to be installed into a wall may require more than a couple hours of work, particularly if your home’s electrical system is difficult to handle.

Furthermore, it’s also worth mentioning that installing car locks and safe locks is different from installing door locks and window locks.

2. How Much Do Our Services Cost?

It depends on the needs of your locks and keys. For example, something as simple as creating a new key or repairing a damaged lock may require additional services in order to complete, in which case additional charges will be required. So given the nature of our work, it is our policy to provide our clients with free quotes and estimates before we start working on their locks or keys. This way, they know exactly how much they can expect to pay.

3. What Happens If You Need to Replace One of My Lock’s Parts?

We generally have no trouble replacing lock parts. The only exception is if you have a foreign-made lock that features components not available in the country. If this is the case, we will still do our best to find the replacement for your lock’s damaged part, but if that is not possible then we may recommend that you buy a new lock.

4. I’m Afraid That Someone Has Copied My Keys? Can You Help Me?

Yes, we will rekey your locks to render your old keys useless. We will then provide you with a new key for your new lock.

5. Can You Work On Several Locks At A Time?

Yes. In fact, that’s one of the reason why we have 24 hour services. If you need to install a new set of locks into your home or office, and you need it done ASAP, we are willing to work as long as it takes to finish the job.
